We whipped out our moon bounce and let the kids jump some energy out. We have some great friends in the ward that own a moon bounce company and they gave us this mini moon bounce a few months ago. We don't get it out very often because it is really really loud and we want it to be for special occasions. Being stuck inside for more than a week qualified as a special occasion.

Every other time we have used the moon bounce,
Abigail has been scard to death of it and sits on top of me until it has been turned off. This time was miraculously different, she got inside for the first time.

Lily posing on the side, poking Abigail and having a blast! She is so energetic that this is right up her alley and she loves every second of it! She could probably jump in it for hours and not need to stop. I love it because she gets worn out and sleeps really well afterward!

Carter loves to push the limits and tries to climb out from the side (against the rules). He was trying to see me for the picture, I think it turned out pretty cute.

Abigail enjoyed pushing her face up against the net, but we couldn't get her to stand up and leave her little corner. I was just happy she was in it and not on top of me screaming.

She finally got up and tried to bounce after sitting in there for over 30 minutes! Go ABBY!
This was our family day without television. It seemed that during the week stuck at home together we used the TV as a backup way too much. We watched at least one movie a day, sometimes 2, and had several popcorn parties, which was fun. However, towards the end of the week I was having a nagging feeling that I wasn't taking advantage of this time together as we should, so we turned off all the electronics and put on the moon bounce. Later that night we played, "Pass the Pigs" and ate lemon bars that we'd made earlier that night. It was surprisingly my favorite day of the whole week. So, why can't I seem to make those kind of choices more often?
