Coupon Madness

I've been pretty anxious to get our food storage and be prepared for whatever might come our way in the future. The economy is so bad right now that one can't be too cautious or concerned for what lies ahead. Nate doesn't worry about those things, so I have to do the worrying for our family. If only I had his faith. I have faith, but I also know that it requires some action: like listening too and obeying the prophets advice to have a food storage (and shopping!). I am trying my best to do it wisely and not to spend more than we can or should. I have been greatly blessed to find some rather wonderful deals on white flour, sugar, and yeast over the past few weeks. I have also been going wild with coupons and found that we can have a lot of new brand named items for less than the generic, if I shop on the double/triple coupon days and/or sales. It has become a hobby and obsession that I really enjoy and that seems to be saving us money on food and other products. I probably spend more time and effort on coupons than I should, but who can pass up getting free toothpaste and razors? I eagerly await Sunday mornings when I can get the paper and know that my coupons have arrived. I wait until Monday to open it and look at the coupons, then I look at the circulars that come for the week and see what is on sale and what I have coupons for. I get small sort of small thrill from finding deals- it's almost scary. More than once I have lost precious sleep over it and wanting to be prepared just right so as to not waste our time or money. I'm beginning to wonder if I need to join a group called "coupons anonymous!"
