- Lily has been cracking me up lately by making up her own songs. Two that I remember well are all about candy (surprise, surprise). The first is to the tune of Frerraschaka (I obviously have no idea how to spell that word!). It goes like this: "Where is Candy. Where is Candy." The other one she made up her own tune and just sang, "I want Candy, I want Candy." Funny!
- Abigail has become a little terror and can't seem to go 5 minutes without either hurting someone or getting hurt. She also seems to completely hate me lately, which I find quite annoying. Every time I brush her teeth, change her diaper, or give her a bath she kicks, screams and acts like I am chopping her head off or something. It is really getting old. On the other side, she has also recently become my most cuddly child and wants me to hold her and her blanky any chance she can find (as long I don't have a toothbrush or diaper in my hand:). I am scared to see how she will react with the new baby. She doesn't handle competition with Lily well, so I don't forsee a good transition.
- I have been feeling way better for the past few weeks and have even managed to go 3 days in a row now without a massive headache (which is a miracle!). I must admit that I really hate pregnancy and I am really hoping that this is the last time! I have my ultrasound next week and we shall see what the sex of this baby is. We have been really blessed with beautiful children and I am trying hard to be willing to accept whatever sex God sends us. I have this feeling that if it is a boy I will feel okay knowing we are done having kids. If not, I know that their is another son, so I will not be done. Can you guess what I am hoping for? We shall see what the Lord has in store for us!

I think the word you're looking for is Frere Jacques. (Brother John).. it's a french tune originally you just pronounce all the syllables :) But I love the spin you put on it - it might be a whole other tune with that title!

That part about Abigail makes me feel a little bit better. We have been in Canada with my family for the last little while and I have been almost embarrassed about how difficult Brenna is being towards everyone. I think they all think that she's a total pill. I sometimes wonder if I am doing something wrong with her. She's fine with me at home, but she is sort of a bully with other kids and she yells a lot at people. She's a good kid, but sometimes I think I'm the only one who gets to see that side of her!
Also, I can't wait to hear what you're having! So exciting!!
Thanks for sharing your blog link! I don't think I'd seen it before. Yes, we should get together some Sunday. I'm actually going to be gone a lot of Sundays in August since I'm traveling for work. But, September?
