Father's Day Additions

Yummy made-up dinner of chicken and sausage with salt potatoes and broccoli.
Even on his day off, our sweet Daddy worked with the kids to unload the dishwasher and give mommy a break. (My back was killing me after spending so much time in the kitchen all day!).

Taking a "break"? Trying to read to these girls is like trying to read to some monkeys. Neither one will sit through an entire book yet. It is insane. I keep trying to teach Lily words and point to pictures, but she still only lasts a few pages. Her attention span is about as long as a gerbils!

Kaylie made 3 different Father's Day gifts/cards and it was really sweet to see what she wrote about her daddy. She really loves him and it was fun to see his reactions to her kind words.

I bought him some deli meat: salami, pepperoni, and sausage. I think he was in heaven, the smile says it all! (We were spoiled the week before at Grandpa's, where he had deli sandwiches every lunch, and I thought I'd keep the spoiling alive for a little while).

Eager Lily awaits the treat we worked hard to make

Now that is what I call a BIG COOKIE!!
