I was feeling particularly sick one day and sweet Carter volunteered to change his sisters' diapers. It had never even crossed my mind before that he could or should (not?) do that. So, I let him. He was happy to help and actually did a pretty good job. Man, why didn't I think of this earlier? As long as it's only #1, I'm totally cool with him helping me change the exorbant amount of diapers I have (although I know several mothers have had it way worse than me!).

A view from the kitchen once I got the camera. Oh how I love my boy! We later taught Kaylie how to do it as well, so now I've got more ways that the kids can help around the house. I have been anxious to find ways to teach them to work. They have become very proficient at unloading the dishwasher, washing windows, making their beds, occasionally folding their laundry, helping me mop and take out the garbage (the little ones), and cleaning up their toys. Now we can add changing diapers to the list! YESSSSS!!
