Carter was so cute with his Grandma.. he always made sure she had a place to sit and food/drink to consume. He really took care of her, including saving this "bugs on a log" celery stick for her during snack time. He even made it himself! What a good boy!

Since Leanne was going to be having a birthday the week after she left us, we thought it only appropriate to throw her our own Birthday party. The kids are always really excited to have Birthday parties and were more than willing to help make brownies and wrap presents with me. It was cute to see them get super excited to celebrate Leanne! I can't believe she is 23! Time sure goes by fast.

We basically just went shopping in our yummy food storage and gave her food to start off her new semester at BYU and to get her and grandma comfortably back home on the long flight.

I was excited that she requested Brownies and icecream- my personal favorite. WE only had 3 candles, but it worked since each represented a year in the 20's! We sure love our aunt Leelee and had a great time with her and mom here for the weekend. If I had any complaints at all about it, its that it was WAY TOO SHORT!

Lots of ice cream to choose from.. YUM

Grandma eager to dig in?
We were so grateful that they came to visit us! We always have such a great time when we have family and friends over. It seems to lift our spirits and entertain us plenty. We are grateful that Leanne served a mission that allowed her to meet and teach a girl that was married in the temple here, giving her a great excuse to come and visit us! Is that twisted?
