Christmas #1

It was somewhat crazy trying to figure out how to do Christmas this year. We knew we were leaving for Utah on Friday, the 18th, but Kaylie had no days off of school before we left. We wanted to have our own family Christmas celebration before going to Layton, so this was our first attempt at celebrating. It was very low key and a little lame, but at least got the ball rolling for the kids and the excitement levels went up really quickly for then on... Abigail figured out that opening presents was really fun and between her and Lily it was hard to keep the presents safe for their rightful heirs.

Carter got a few nice puzzles to do with mommy during preschool time. He's getting really good at them. (as I will show in a different post).

Kaylie still loves beanie babies and was elated to find a box full of them under the tree with her name on it. Carter had previously unwrapped the box for her, how thoughtful of him! She has names for each of them and is most excited about Zack the Zebra and Jack the Dalmation.

Nathan got the world's longest licorice ropes from the kids. Oh what fun.
