Now that I'm not pregnant anymore, I have greater desires to cook and have fun trying out new recipes again. I enjoyed making my own egg rolls for the first time and was really pleased with the results!!! Baked and Yummy!
Kaylie had a fun project for school.. to make a native American house. She had a list of different kinds to choose from and decided to make a mixture of two kinds.. a hogan and a teepee. We made up different names for it: a togan or a heepee :)
I liked her totem pole
she loved the fire that looked real and the little people sleeping next to it
We bought some new headbands and flowers the other day and it made a great craft for Kaylie to enjoy. She loves crafts and I don't allow her to do them as much as either of us would like (due to the fact that toddlers usually destroy any cuteness or fun that usually comes from doing such things). The girls all loved the results and had fun trying on the new hair things. We have plenty of them now and I love that even Nate can help do their hair with these easy clips! They were super easy to make too!
Lily insisted on wearing two of them :)
Kaylie said the other day: "mom, if I don't get the job being an art teacher, do you think I could be a coach?" I told her she could be anything that she wants to be. Right now she loves art and sports. Go for it girl!
Lily made me laugh the other day. She said: "MOM"
Me: "Yes honey?"
Lily: "No, it's not honey, it's LILY!"
Silly girl!
I love doing projects with Kaylie, and hope that I can soon love to do them with Lily and Abigail as well. They just seem to ruin everything they look at and touch! Just yesterday I got out some kid beads and necklace things and Lily loved making necklaces, but Abigail soon had more than 5 beads in her mouth! Gotta love her!
