We had a really nice Christmas this year. It was a lot more quiet than last year, as we were by ourselves and in our own home. This is only the 2nd Christmas we've had alone in our 8 years of marriage. With our growing family it makes more sense to do it on our own now, but we missed being around family!
This was the last year with our tree... it was literally on its last leg! We bought it right after our first Christmas together, on the after Christmas sales. I think we paid $7 for it and it lasted 7 years! What a deal! We hope that next year we can have a real pine tree to celebrate :)
My best Christmas gift this year
Our Christmas Feast (more like a Thanksgiving meal). We had turkey, mashed potatoes, fresh green beans, and pineapple.
The Roast Beast... probably the best Turkey I have ever had! It was 26 lbs and barely fit into my largest roasting pan. I used an herb rub I found and it was to die for!!!
