We have gone swimming at least 3 times a week since Memorial Day, I just keep forgetting to bring the camera. Nate took the kids a few weeks ago and I went for a few minutes to take pictures. Unfortunately, this was the best shot I got. I'll have to try again for the other girls!
Carter is really good at swimming underwater and jumping in. However, he can't seem to figure out how to come up for a breath without standing up. Once he does (or finally lets us teach him) he will be an outstanding swimmer! He loves to wear goggles and do flips underwater. I won't let him go any deeper than 3 feet until he can swim all by himself without standing up, but he still doesn't seem motivated to care.
Lily is our little fish and usually our model for the camera, but she didn't want to have anything to do with the camera or the pool this day.
Making a big splash
Nate put this suit on Abigail... it is meant for a 4 year old! I couldn't stop laughing, it looked ridiculous! But she didn't seem to mind. I have been very pleased that she has enjoyed swimming as much as she has this year. She hates taking baths (I can't even get her to sit down in the tub) so I was scared she would hate swimming. I was wrong, she loves it!

LOVE all the new photos Nichole!!! What cuties you have on your hands :) It's FINALLY getting warm enough here so we can set up the kiddie pool outside! I like the one in your photos better though :) Loved catching up on all the events these past few weeks....you guys have been busy! Hopefully the very "littlest" one isn't giving you too much grief anymore...keep me posted on details! :)
Do you have a pool where you live? It is so hot here today! Already 86 degrees in my house and it's only 9 am!!
