One of the local stores, Giant, hosted an easter egg hunt for kids ranging from 0-12. They were supposed to divide them into groups according to their age, but ended up letting all the kids do it together.

Lily and Abigail had more fun eating the candy in their baskets, than looking for more eggs.

At one point, I was helping them and found a little pocket that had about 5 eggs waiting for them, when another mother came and started taking the eggs for her daughter (who was older and down the aisle!!!). It was pretty rude and I did manage to say "excuse me" in the nicest way I could muster. My poor girls were deprived because of a greedy mother.

Whoever found the most eggs won an easter basket, so the competition was a little fierce. Carter actually ended up getting 2nd place, with 20 eggs, and was beat by a 12 year-old girl that had 23. It was a little unfair, but we can't complain. Lily actually ended up winning a basket in a raffle, and each of the kids got a coloring book, not to mention the eggs and candy. I was happy, because we didn't have to buy any more plastic eggs for our egg hunt for Easter (which I'd apparently gotten rid of last year).
The store also had bunny cookie decorating that we took advantage of, before General Conference started.
