St. Patricks Day Picnic

Since the weather was so beautiful on St. Patricks' Day this year, the kids and I decided we should have a picnic and go on a walk and collect green things.
This was so adorable! I love it when the girls actually get along and help eachother.

I surprised the kids by having us walk to the Ercanbracks house, our good friends that just had baby #5. His name is Dietrich and he is adorable. I thought it would be nice for the parents if I took the kids with us on our St. Patricks scavenger hunt and picnic.

Each of the kids had a great time gathering green things and putting them in out bag. I pointed out the 3-leaf-clovers/ Shamrocks and we walked to a nearby commons area for lunch.

The kids loved eating their green fruit snacks and being with their friends. I was grateful when Lynette volunteered to drive us home since by that time the kids were a little tired of walking, and my knee was hurting.
