Nathans' car has been through a lot and has recently become quite the eye sore. This winter was not easy on the car with the snow fall and horrible plow jobs, and now that the snow has melted there are terrible pot holes everywhere! Nathan hit one on his way home from work and we had to replace his whole wheel. It left parts of the front bumper hanging and dragging. He was home for a few days and decided that having the bumber and some front parts of the car fall off or drag every time he drove, was getting a little old. Nate went online and ordered some parts to replace the pieces that had been taped together for so long and had had enough. This was the first time that I've ever seen him willingly play Mr. Fix It and he actually did a fine job. He saved us a lot of money in the process as well.

Kaylie and Carter acted like it was Christmas opening the HUGE package of car parts that came.

Mr. Fix it himself.

This is after Nate managed to get what was left of the front off so that he could put the replacement parts on. He has yet to finish painting (he has to order some specialty paint), but the car looks so much better now! I still have to take an after picture, but will be sure to post it once I do. I am so proud of my handy man!
