Kaylie's "Blue" Day

This past Sunday was fast and testimony meeting. However, before the opening hymn was done, we had a huge disaster on our hands. Kaylie was doing something under the bench, when all of a sudden she jerks herself up with her mouth full of something and her face covered in blue ink. She held up a pen and it was obvious that she's somehow bitten it open and it exploded in her mouth. I immediately took her to the bathroom, where we spent the next 20 minutes cleaning her off. It was incredibly insane, funny, and messy at the same time. I couldn't believe how much ink she had in her mouth. Her teeth were all blue, her tongue was blue, her hair was blue and her hands and knees showed signs of her mess for a few days. I missed sacrament, but I knew that if I had waited, Kaylie would probably become permanently blue. It was pretty funny. My only regret is that I didn't have my camera to take a picture!
