Nathan loved talking to the local fishermen and was salivating at the idea of catching his own fish someday. He loves fishing but really hasn't had much time or opportunity to do it for a long time.
The Great Falls Waterfalls. There are something like 7 falls and this one was under construction when we saw it, but it was still beautiful.
Perhaps the most primitive and wonderful sign we have seen in a restaurant since our childhood. We thought when we first sat down that it was a decoration or a joke, but were amazed to find that it was real. They don't even pay attention, but expect everyone to live on the honor code and pay a quarter for each ice cream cone. It was really cute. We were sad that we only had credit cards with us since the wood box wouldn't accept them :) This is something the kids would just LOVE!
The Great Falls International airport boasted a lot of heads on its walls and a great big bear. Montana is a huge hunting state and if you get out of the city even just a few miles it is not uncommon to find tons of wildlife.

You both look so native to the area already, with Nathan mostly resembling a bear.
Love the photos. Imagine a quarter ice cream cone and small trout being an incentive!
Looking forward to seeing your take on Ohio. Montana sounds like a great experience.
