Watching the fireworks and the families run around. It was a pretty entertaining night. I realize that this blog is in the opposite order than it should be. The first pictures I put on here should have been up on top, but I can't figure out how to change it. I guess we'll just have to look at the night backward!

Lily and Nathan "dancing" with the firework. They had a great time!

I think Nate enjoyed the sparklers and lighting fire more than anybody! He would run around with the sparklers and yell, "Go USA!" It's always fun to watch him in these kinds of situations. On the left is Adam Ercanbrack.

Lily had the time of her life- she got to stay up way later than usual and watch sparkling lights. She was dancing in the street and cooing at everything she saw. It was more entertaining watching her reactions to the fireworks than watching the actual fireworks.

Nathan trying to attack me with a sparkler.

Waiting for dusk to light the fireworks and sparklers.

The girls standing in line for their sparklers.

More of the Ercanbracks- we played in their front yard after dinner and waited for the sun to set to be able to light the fireworks they bought.

Getting ready to play some whiffleball with the kids.

The kids love whiffleball, it must be a Clark thing- it's in the genes.

Nathan and I preparing for some firework fun.

Me and Lynette Ercanbrack, my good friend here in Sterling, VA.

We had a fun barbeque with the Ercanbracks, another family of 6, with kids all matching our childrens' ages. Here are Abigail, Madeleine, and Nathan.

Abigail and Madeleine share the same birthday. You'd never guess that looking at them, but it's true. They are forced friends!
