Follow up with pics

Well my last blog talked all about my crazy toddler but I wasn't able to upload the pictures. So, now I'll ad the pics and say that I survived our bad day and managed to have several fun moments as well. Here is my drag queen baby that ever since my mom came seems to be obsessed with makeup. (my mom let Lily and Abigail wear her lipgloss, that she wore several times a day, and now they are going through withdrawals.)

Oh boy!

The kids had so much fun mopping the floor and I had fun watching them and not having to do the work myself. Since that day they have asked several times if they can do it again. I should make it a more regular part of our clean-up since they were entertained by it for at least an hour and it really cleaned my floor!

Hopefully these pics are decent enough to share online, I forgot to get pics when they still had all their clothes on- they got so soaked the kids took them off to keep playing.

We made some soft pretzels that the kids loved trying to make snakes out of, but I really ended up doing most of the work. Abigail enjoyed eating the dough so much that I was in a rush to get it in the oven before it hurt her tummy!

I guess Carter liked the dough too- YUCk.

A rare morning... after my last blog I must repent and say that things are not always that bad. In fact, sometimes things are awesome. Like the morning I took these pics- Kaylie did "school" with Lily and taught her how to spell her name, sing a few songs and say some numbers.

Carter kept Abigail entertained building legos and playing with other toys. I was able to do all the dishes and get dinner in the crockpot before I was needed again. LOVED IT!!!
Oh, and just so I don't forget...in my last post, I forgot to mention that after Abigail had covered her face in makeup, she managed to find a tube of toothpaste that my mom must have left in the downstairs bathroom. She painted the mirrors, her clothes, and her feet with it. That morning was insane! Good thing they aren't all that way!
