Nate had a continuing education course in Jacksonville, FL right before Christmas, and I was blessed enough to get to join him at the end of the week for a quick weekend getaway! Super FUN! The first day I went shopping around the hotel (couldn't buy much since I had to fit it in my carry-on) but still had a great time! When Nate got off for the night we went out to eat at the Cheesecake Factory and had a nice walk. The next morning we woke up early and drove to Universal Studios Orlando. I enjoyed the drive because it brought me back to my mission which I hadn't seen for over 12 years! We had a great day at the 2 Universal Parks and felt very spoiled to be able to go together. It was just as fun as I remember from my childhood! We even got the bonus of being able to watch "The Grinch" Musical and then a live Christmas Concert by Mannheim Steamroller (one of our favorite groups) who just happened to be performing there that weekend only!!
