Forest Grove Elementary holds an annual Family Fun and Fitness day and this year it was last Saturday (Feb. 12 or so). The kids and I went, while Nate had to work. That morning we worked hard to clean the entire house (I found that using the motivation of going to this fun activity was perfect to get the kids to clean without whining). We finished the house with enough time to get the kids dressed and ready to go. We had a great time and there were so many things to do I was sad I forgot to bring the camera. They had a moonbounce, photo id cards for each kids from the police dept., a tour of a fire engine, and lots of games where the kids won little prizes (their favorite). It was a really nice family event, we just wished daddy could've been there.
The kids enjoyed their face paints and hope that their new school in Ohio will offer such fun things to do.
